Whitesbog Worker’s Houses In Winter

Whitesbog Worker's Houses in Winter by Beth Sawickie

At Whitesbog Village in NJ they have preserved several of the worker’s houses from years ago.

Entire families would come for the cranberry harvest season (and blueberries too, I think).

They often came from crowded cities so getting to spend time in the wide open country was actually a welcome change.

I thought this photo in black and white well illustrated the coldness of winter – even with the sun shining – it was freezing!.

Black and White Mandala 1

Black and White Mandala 1 by Beth Sawickie http://bethsawickie.com/black-and-white-mandala-1

I’ve been participating in the Black and White Photo Challenge…and I bent the rules a bit to suit my urge to create mandalas 😉

This B&W mandala is third in my Black and White Photo Challenge Series – and First in my Black and White Mandala Series.

Can 1 image be included in two different series? Who knows?  I say – YES! 🙂 My rules, my sandbox 😉

This mandala was created from my White Tree Flower Photograph (#2 in the B&W series).

Prints and cards of this mandala are available HERE.

If you like this mandala, others will too! Please share it with the buttons above/below :)  Thanks!

Flower in Black and White #1

I think this flower almost looks more vibrant in black and white than it does in color.
