Cold Winter Mandala by Beth Sawickie

Cold Winter Mandala

Cold Winter Mandala by Beth Sawickie

It has been COLD here in NJ for a few days.  20’s or less during the day, wind chill of -9 degrees F at night! Brr!

Winter is not my favorite season.  It is cold, gloomy, not much color (except from sunrises/sunsets).

Having the winter blahs is definitely NOT a good thing for someone who has fallen into depressions in the past.

If it is going to be cold, there better be snow on the ground! At least then the snow reflects the warm sun’s rays.

Even though it was in the 20’s, I got outside for our first real snowfall of the year and captured some nice shots to inspire mandalas 🙂

After about an hour I was a bit chilly, but I was happy – time in nature always warms my heart and soul.

This mandala is 14th in my 365 Days of Mandalas & Photos Project.
