Angels In The Sky Mandala

I was watching the sunset on a mid-August evening over a nearby lake.  There were all sorts of neat swooshes of clouds through the blue sky with a bit of a yellow/orange glow from the sun.  The regular ol’ images I took of the sky in and of themselves weren’t so impressive.  But when I transformed the image into a mandala…that is when the true beauty emerged.  (scroll down to see the original)

Spirea Mandala #1

I created this mandala from a photo I took of a Spirea plant in my Mom’s backyard. It had a few rather tiny purple flowers on it. See the original picture down below.

Green Leaf White Flower Mandala

I created this mandala from a photo I took of the Sweet Pepper Bush in bloom during August in the NJ Pine Barrens. Scroll down to see the original photo.

Fire Water Mandala

This is created from a photo I took of the “cedar water” commonly found flowing through the NJ Pine Barrens.  It has a tea colored orange tint to it because of the tannic acids from the roots of the nearby cedar trees.

Prints, poster and cards of this mandala are available here.

Nature Vortex Mandala #1

I created this Mandala from an original photo I took of pebbles, sand, a blade of grass and some pine needles.

I really like the glow that emanates from the center.
