I saw these rose bushes at a rest stop on a Pennsylvania Interstate Highway. They were so beautiful that I just had to get a picture of them.
I shot this flower in the front yard with my new camera – a Nikon D3100. The camera was a fabulous early Birthday gift from my boyfriend. He got tired of me struggling to get a great print-quality picture out of my old Lumix.
It is really amazing the difference a better camera makes!
I shot this sign on May 17, 2013 at Seaside Heights, NJ. Like many towns along the East Coast, Seaside was devastated by Hurricane Sandy in October of 2012.
Seaside is in full swing rebuilding and coming back stronger than ever!

I took this as the sun was getting low in the sky on a May evening. I just love ferns!
I took this photo in the front yard today. This is a small plant, the flowers are no larger than a nickel. I don’t remember what the plant is. It comes back every year a bit more spread out than before.
